This was such a lovely little restaurant/bar. The atmosphere was great with a bar seating area, an outdoor patio, and booths. We got there for happy hour where it was a few $ off food and specific drinks. When we got there, someone had the popcorn next to us which I was like eh it's just popcorn, but it is a must! It had the Beechers seasoning on it and it was delicious! The Caesar salad looked better than it was, the dressing had some flavor but didn't really fully spread on the salad. The breadcrumbs were a great touch. The burrata was great and a large portion!

The food was pretty good. We liked the cheddar and chive popcorn and the jalapeño hushpuppies. The watermelon salad was ok. I think the only thing I was particularly impressed by was the drinks and drink menu. My partner said his steak was good but the sides weren't good, noting he felt it was the worst potatoes and greens he'd had in a while. He said they were very flavorful and the greens weren't cooked well, making them kinda chewy and stringy/tough. The server was fine but they were pretty busy it seemed. The ambiance was nice before it got a bit more crowded and loud as it got later and more people showed up to mill around at the bar. It was a fine experience but probably wouldn't go back for anything other than drinks at the bar.

Me and my wife came to Seattle to visit and we stopped in on a whim. We ordered the artichoke dip, the jalapeño puffs, and the fries from the happy hour. The food was unbelievable. They are in-house aïoli is to die for I highly recommend if you order the fries to get a side of it. For drinks, we had the backhanded complement, and the mood changer. My wife and I couldn't get them down fast enough. If you're looking for a really cool atmosphere with really good food around Pike market this is the place to go.

Absolutely great service! Super knowledgeable bartenders and staff. Stopped in to have a drink and some bites after the Mariners game. All the frills of a hot new bar without the pretentiousness a lot of them have. Guess that's why zig zag is considered an oldie but goodie. Food was great. Need to come back here more. We had the chicharrones, split a burger, cauliflower, and flourless chocolate cake. I'd order everything again except the cake which was just ok. Really a delightful experience overall. The cocktails were wonderful.

Zig Zag is a great spot to wind down in the evening. Great music, lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor seating. I love the dark ambiance. Ordered a spinach artichoke that was okay. And a tasty burger I would definitely order again. The portion sizes are fulfilling for what you pay for. *Today's host was a 2/5 for me, the server was great* I knocked out a star. The host at the front wasn't friendly. I notice the host was giving the same energy to other tables. I hope maybe they were having an off day. I hope they have a better day tomorrow. However, I will definitely come back for the food! -- Live Jazz Music on Sundays and Mondays --

We had an awesome experience at Zig Zag Cafe. We had a reservation for 5:00 and enjoyed happy hour until 6:00. We had several appetizers and drinks. Food Rankings: 1. Spinach Artichoke Dip 2. Brussel Sprouts 3. Jalapeño Cheddar Hushpuppies 4. Creamy Cashew Caesar Salad 5. Baked Oysters My favorite drink was by far the I'd Like To Leave It On - very good and unique taste. The Silver Arrow was also legit - a more traditional whiskey cocktail. Cool ambiance, great service, and fantastic food and cocktails. Would definitely come back.

Location is a bit tricky to find if you're relying upon Google Maps and the address. When standing in front of Kasala, go down two flights of stairs to find this gem. Intimate lighting inside and a cool outdoor patio. The bar is roomy. Bartender Ricky discussed my drink preferences based upon advice I'd received from a bartending colleague in another location. The result? The Last Word... a cool pre-Prohibition drink resurrected by a bartender right here in Zig Zag. Of course I had to try it! Light, refreshing blend of gin, chartreuse, and lime. I'm not usually a gin fan, but this is yummy. Give it a whirl!

Delicious safe haven in the hustle and bustle of the market! I popped in on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised what a different energy you got immediately. Low lighting, intimate with great music and perfect service! The cocktail menu is admirable and the bartenders on point. I got the chicharrones which were so fresh they were crackling, served with harissa yogurt and lime to squeeze on top. It sounded like pork popcorn! I also got the deviled eggs and strawberry rhubarb pie which were delicious as well. I would love to go back for a full meal and perhaps some live jazz!

Burger was tasty, well cooked and well made. Service was also fantastic for our large party of 12. Zig Zag Cafe has a dim lit classy ambiance with a menu filled with unique cocktails and typical bar food. Seems like lots of people on dates come here as well as intimate groups of friends. There is outdoor patio seating as well as indoor seating. Bathroom is in the building hallway and is shared with other restaurants.

Have wanted to get here since 2015! I finally made it on my last day in Seattle. A great little bar with a world class cocktail program, live jazz, tasty eats and a romantic atmosphere. We had the following cocktails; Archipelago Crimson Sky Daddy Got Caught Neutralizer N/A Plus, the Macrina baguette and a cheescake. We only had 90 minutes, but enjoyed ourselves immensely.
